Your Security, Our Priority: Introducing Gig Insurance coverage powered by Singlife x Outside

Introducing our new partnership with Singlife!

“Gig workers are integral to our economy, yet they often lack the financial security as compared to typical employees. We’re excited to partner with Outside, offering embedded insurance solutions that can better safeguard gig workers on the job,” said Varun Mittal, Head of Innovation & Ecosystem at Singlife.

At Outside, we recognise that freelancers in the gig economy are more vulnerable during economic downturns or any unforeseen accidents as they typically lack job and income stability, especially if they do not have sufficient savings or appropriate health insurance.

Hence, we partnered up with Singlife to ensure that you stay protected while you hustle on Outside. Effective immediately, all eligible Outside agents will be automatically covered for any shift that is taken up on Outside.

The best part? It’s on us – there is no additional cost or deduction to your pay to enjoy this benefit.

Automatic Coverage

All eligible Outside agents are automatically covered by Singlife, no registration required! Coverage starts from the issuance of the Certificate of Insurance (“Coverage Start Date”) by Singlife, shown to you on the Outside app every time you clock in for your appointed shift(s).
